The flames spread quickly inside the plant, which is owned by Chainarin Panthaprasit, 60, and produces bunker oil from used auto tyres. As of mid-morning on Tuesday, the fire had not been brought under control and was being fuelled by the large number of used auto tyres stored there for the production of bunker oil. Fire crews were concentrating on preventing the blaze from spreading to the two bunker oil tanks.
